Henry Pirtle

Henry Pirtle Rowan was born c.1854 and died c.1857 of unknown causes. The child was named for a close friend of the family, Judge Henry Pirtle of Louisville. Judge Pirtle had studied law with Judge Rowan and even named one of his sons “John Rowan Pirtle”. Judge Pirtle was named to be one of the executors of Judge Rowan’s will.
