It's DERBY time in the Kentucky and My Old Kentucky Home is proud to roll out the roses, silks, hats, and more with our new Kentucky Derby exhibit, the "Race is On!"
The perfect Post-Derby event. Come enjoy barbeque and burgoo at My Old Kentucky Home with terrific music. Enter through the Visitors Center to check-in or purchase tickets and you’ll receive your wristband. Exit to the Veranda where Mint Juleps and the Lilly are served, then head to the Rotunda for music and dancing. Across from the music will be the food tent, featuring Burgoo as well as a delicious plated BBQ meal.

My Old Kentucky Home will be transformed into the bizarre Victorian world of funerals and mourning all of October! Enter the mansion, draped in black swag and feather plumes, and wander the darkened halls to hear the stories of the mansion’s storied past as it relates to death and demise.
Take a step back to the Roaring 20s and celebrate a century of rich history at our iconic “Bourbon Hideaway of Federal Hill” event. We’re staging this ritzy, high-hat bash steeped in the spirit of the grand year 1924 on the clear evening of Thursday, September 12th. Join us beneath the starlit expanse from 6 pm ’til 10 pm.
Discover the history of the Federal Hill Mansion as you roam the grounds during this progressive event. Every new stop will also give you a peek into the history of our Partners, each Family Owned and based in our Community. So, dress to the nines and be on the lookout for bank robbers and bent coppers. Once all secret spots have been discovered, roam the party at your leisure and soak up the atmosphere.
