Lytle Rowan

1843-1883

Lytle Rowan was born c.1843. During the Civil War he joined the Confederates by enlisting as a private in the cavalry. After the War, he was a lawyer in Louisville and lived in the family’s 5th Street home. Lytle died in 1883 and is buried in the Rowan family cemetery at Federal Hill.
